Data Series Files supported by PowerCoach
 

• PowerCoach does not support direct communication with hardware of measuring devices. However, PowerCoach imports easily (on Windows or Mac OS) data series files saved (on Windows or Mac OS) by downloading software of commonly used devices.
 

• Either on Windows or Mac OS, PowerCoach Developer Version 00.08.11 imports the following files:

 . Ancarr Elite files saved on Windows (BAUMANN & HALDI device).

 . E-Train files saved on Windows (CATEYE device).

 . E-Train files saved on Mac OS (CATEYE device).

 . HRM files saved on Windows (POLAR device).

 . HR Analysis files saved on Mac OS (POLAR device).

 . Power-Tap Link files saved on Windows (E-TUNE device).

 . SPY Win files saved on Windows (HUGER device).

 . PowerCom files saved on Mac OS (SRM device).

 . SRM Training System ASCII text files exported on Windows (SRM device).

 . Winpuls ASCII text files exported on Windows (POLAR device / CICLO SPORT device).

 . PowerCoach ASCII text files exported on Windows or Mac OS.
 

• Use the "PowerCoach" main menu command "Import..." to select and open importable files:

 . If PowerCoach recognizes the file type, it imports available data and launches a corresponding PowerCoach "Data Series" Job.

 . If PowerCoach does not recognize the file type, it informs the user.
 
 

Exporting SRM Training System ASCII Text Files
 

You may import into PowerCoach, either on Windows or Mac OS, SRM Training System ASCII text files exported on Windows. To export SRM Training System ASCII text files and import such files into PowerCoach, proceed as follows.
 

1. Using SRM Training System software, download data series from PowerControl or open saved data series.

To export a data series, the series must be displayed in frontmost window.

2. Using SRM Training System software, pull down the "File" menu and execute the menu command "Export...".

3. When the "Export" file dialog window gets displayed, choose the file type option "Training as text file".

Enter a file name and click the "Save" button to export the data series to the named file.

NOTE:  You may name export files "aaa". Save such files always to the same location, switch to PowerCoach and import the "aaa" file. Once the "xxx" file imported, switch back to SRM software and export the next "aaa" file. Saving files always to the same location will simply replace the previous "aaa" file.
 

4. Once the SRM text file is exported, switch to PowerCoach software.

Pull down the "PowerCoach" main menu and execute the menu command "Import...".

5. When the "Open..." file dialog window gets displayed, select and open the exported file.
